Lesson Learned!

Yesterday a Japanese blogger got a scare when he found out lots of foreign IP’s are visiting his/her site. It appears that he/she was feeling uneasy and unpleasant about the recent surge of those visitors.

That’s when i realized I should have asked permission from them first before putting their blogs links. Internet etiquette everyone?? After all those blogs are their personal webspace. Although he/she expressed thanks for making his/her a site a bit popular^^ I think he/she doesn’t want the added attention. And so, I am removing their links, as of now, until I get their “yeses”.

I did leave the general Wonderking websites in the blogroll.

Anyway.. with this experience I am glad I was able to communicate with them. Lol even though both of us were using a translator.

Updates

Hello everyone! Thanks for visiting my humble site. I appreciate if you leave comments about things around here. ^^

Anyway for the update, I added Mage stuff on the Job Opps Page (see top navigation bar) and changed the skill tables into jpegs so that I can edit faster. Hopefully with these changes I can finish the Thief and Warrior information sooner.

Also because of the bad quality of screenshots in-game I decided to download a screen capture software. It’s not freeware though, just a trial version named Fastone Capture. Below is a test screenie. I think it looks better right?

 About my characters… got stalled at lvl 29 due to Netmarble website maintenance. -_-
And then another exam on Psychology II will keep me away from it for a while.

Halloween Event on Korean Servers

Yesterday was the scheduled maintenance of the Japanese version. And since i was expecting myself to play a few hours on my free time I decided to visit my Korean WK account instead. Well, they seem to have a wonderful Halloween event going on..

Of course I can’t understand Korean, but I can read the them. (Not that good at reading though ^^). And ofcourse it’s free to interpret the pictures.
Well, here’s my interpretation of the pictures; to sum it up there are red and blue pumpkin candies/lollipops dropping from all monsters.

20 red  pumpkin candies can be exhanged for a +20 attack consumable.
20 blue pumpkin candies can be exchaged for a +20 accuracy consumable.
500 red and 500 blue candies gives you one of the halloween masks
And then 4 masks can be combined to form that special halloween mask

Now I don’t understand the lower part of the picture which was about accessories and those halloween monsters.

LEVEL UP!

I played Falkken my Trapper Scout and managed to get him to level 27.

BTW It is really slower to train as a Trapper Scout rather than go with the normal Double Shot build. I didn’t get any weapon skill at all. Didn’t take Fire shot cause I took Trap Amplification instead. So I always have to lure mobs towards my traps or place them in places where I know they’ll pass and the bad thing about that is it takes slightly more time compared to just shotting arrows all the time. It also means more time not getting XP when no one passes to your traps. The traps are strong though.

Level Up!

After playing on +Boy+ a few hours today I gained 3 levels.. I think the x2 EXP event was over so it was slower than the last few days.

I’m on the level 20’s range now which coincidentaly is the level range where Elgail NPC’s suddenly run out of quests to give you. A meager 2 quests when I reached level 24. lol Well I still have an unfinished quest. (was trying to figure out what it was all about. too bad you can’t copy and paste text from the quests).

I also got the “Double Star Throw” skill yesterday, and my mana consumption went up. No worries though coz I got a good supply of Honey Syrup and Apples for cooking Apple Pies (+100MP). After that I also got the “Cloak” skill so I can get past those pesky bees inside the Hive map.

For the past few days I’ve been trying to figure out how to activate my Japanes IME while inside the game so I can atleast type Japanese characters. No luck so far. ( -_-)

Finally I can say that at this pace I can be level 30 in a few more days and ofcourse that’s because I got school things to attend to. Maybe level 30 tonight if I don’t have an Anatomy II  and Spanish I Exam tomorrow. ^_^ (;´▽｀)

Character Creation

Evrytime you start a new character you’ll face the task of putting a name on it. To some this task seems so easy but to others it takes up a lot of thinking.

Well on WK, I was having problems turning on the Japanese input system so I resorted to romanji characters and a few bad names.. T.T Lol I named a female thief, +Boy+. How inventive?! 

The names I often give have something to do with my nickname or my native language (Filipino), like Mogules (derived from my last name), Falkken (from my first name), Mananap (means “beast” in my native tongue) and Talipandas (another Filipino word meaning “loose”). +Boy+ was out of nowhere and the two plus signs, which were added to make the name a little less common, clearly show a lack of inventiveness lol.  I’m starting to regret naming her that way. But well…
