Life is short…

A few weeks back I mentioned something about an English community growing. Yeah it did grow but life is short and now it’s like dead. Eh.. O.o I like to think of it as sleeping.. Let’s give it some hope lol. I suggested the WK section in AIJMS be closed since it had zero activity for days after the last 2X EXP weekend.

But my life goes on online… Wandering… Wondering. I still log-on whenever I can and whenever I feel like logging on. It’s usually during mornings to catch the majority of players. More players means finding a party (the meager Bonus EXP it gives helps). It isn’t hard to find a party because of the Party Finder feature, however explaining to them that I can’t speak Japanese and being unable to participate in their conversations can be bugging. Sometimes I do get partymates who know English and aren’t shy to speak it.

Waaah!! Now that I talk about that I remember one evening when I logged on and met a girl from the old Japanese guild that I was randomly recruited in. She speaks english fluently but humbly tells me she isn’t good at it. (like what most Japanese I meet say We had a nice conversation about random stuff– weather in Japan, countries we’ve been to and countries we would like to visit, her job, my studies. It was a worthwhile chat. Sadly I never saw her online again even until I left that guild and joined the English Guild Insomnia (which is now but a ghost guild T.T).

About my characters; I managed to get +Boy+ to level 54 & 65% today before going to class this morning. Ninjas seem to be fairly geared to killing single monsters at fast rate. You can dish 250%x6 damage every five seconds and do 190%x2 damage with 225%flame shuriken in between everytime. Then you could throw caltrops on the ground which right now at level 4 do 150%x4caltrops. Woot I should do 1st job change guides.

I’m training in Helen now but I go back to Francis once in a while to Hunt for the Scorpion boss on the Southwest beach. I joined a random party and we did Francis Town Defense Party Mission. It was nice XP and I also made friends with the Knight and Magician. And I was happy I found out i can do 1k damage now. Atleast to the squid mobs lol. <see below>

I finally completed the Job Opps page for first job classes. The translations are not official by the way… they are just my interpretations. ^^ I removed the Japanese Blog links.

In-game News.
There’s an event going on. You need to craft a unique item (orange name) and post a screenshot in the game website. The reward is a special weapon.

+Boy+ reached level 33 but I haven’t posted for a while so i made a little slideshow of her doing the job change quest.

Lesson Learned!

Yesterday a Japanese blogger got a scare when he found out lots of foreign IP’s are visiting his/her site. It appears that he/she was feeling uneasy and unpleasant about the recent surge of those visitors.

That’s when i realized I should have asked permission from them first before putting their blogs links. Internet etiquette everyone?? After all those blogs are their personal webspace. Although he/she expressed thanks for making his/her a site a bit popular^^ I think he/she doesn’t want the added attention. And so, I am removing their links, as of now, until I get their “yeses”.

I did leave the general Wonderking websites in the blogroll.

Anyway.. with this experience I am glad I was able to communicate with them. Lol even though both of us were using a translator.

Halloween Event on Korean Servers

Yesterday was the scheduled maintenance of the Japanese version. And since i was expecting myself to play a few hours on my free time I decided to visit my Korean WK account instead. Well, they seem to have a wonderful Halloween event going on..

Of course I can’t understand Korean, but I can read the them. (Not that good at reading though ^^). And ofcourse it’s free to interpret the pictures.
Well, here’s my interpretation of the pictures; to sum it up there are red and blue pumpkin candies/lollipops dropping from all monsters.

20 red  pumpkin candies can be exhanged for a +20 attack consumable.
20 blue pumpkin candies can be exchaged for a +20 accuracy consumable.
500 red and 500 blue candies gives you one of the halloween masks
And then 4 masks can be combined to form that special halloween mask

Now I don’t understand the lower part of the picture which was about accessories and those halloween monsters.

LEVEL UP!

I played Falkken my Trapper Scout and managed to get him to level 27.

BTW It is really slower to train as a Trapper Scout rather than go with the normal Double Shot build. I didn’t get any weapon skill at all. Didn’t take Fire shot cause I took Trap Amplification instead. So I always have to lure mobs towards my traps or place them in places where I know they’ll pass and the bad thing about that is it takes slightly more time compared to just shotting arrows all the time. It also means more time not getting XP when no one passes to your traps. The traps are strong though.
